The Parental Travel Consent generally only needs to be submitted if you are asked to present it upon entering the country.
The checkpoint may vary by country, and checks can also be conducted at random.
(In some cases, it may also be requested by the hotel or by the airline when departing.)
A
Haengjeongsa translation certification means the translation is verified by a certified administrative agent (haengjeongsa) qualified in foreign-language translation,
notarization by proxy means notarization by an attorney specializing in notarization,
and apostille means the document is certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs so that it can be used overseas.
Since apostille certification is the method recommended by embassies, it is the safest option, but there have never been any issues even with haengjeongsa translation certification, so the choice is up to you.

There must always be a space between the surname and given name.
For example, if the name is Hong Gildong, it should be written as HONG GILDONG.
(There are exceptions where the name may appear as HONG GIL DONG or HONG GIL-DONG, so please be sure to double-check the passport.)
The passport number consists of a total of 9 characters, including the letter M. Please make sure to write all 9 characters.

If both parents are accompanying the child, a Parental Travel Consent for unaccompanied minors is not required.
However, a notarized translation of the Family Relation Certificate, which proves the family relationship, is required.
A
Yes, it is required.
Since both parents hold parental authority, the consent of the parent who is not accompanying the child is required.
A
The English-language resident register copy is a document that confirms the members of a household, not one that proves family relationships, so it can hardly be regarded as a document proving a family relationship. Therefore, a notarized translation of the Family Relation Certificate, which proves the family relationship, is required.
(However, for the Philippines only, if the parents and child are listed together, the English-language resident register copy may be used as a substitute.)
A
Yes, it is fine if the grandfather does not appear on the Family Relation Certificate.
The Family Relation Certificate is a document needed to prove and confirm that the person who signed the consent form is a parent. Since it is a document used to prove the relationship between the parent and the child, it is not necessary to prove the relationship between the minor and the accompanying guardian.

When minor children depart the country without being accompanied by their parents,
submission of an ‘unaccompanied minor consent form’ is being increasingly strongly required under international human rights law, due to reasons such as forced abduction and departure resulting from disputes between parents (divorce litigation), human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and involvement in various other crimes.
In the past, this was requested at random during local immigration screening, but in recent years, in order to prevent unfortunate incidents resulting from ‘frequent entry denials’, airlines themselves have been tightening checks at the time of ‘departure reporting’.
Therefore, in order to travel freely through airlines and immigration offices around the world, we strongly recommend that you carry this document with you at all times.
